# Canborsa Expands Canton Coin Utility, Enabling $CC as Collateral Across All Markets

[Canborsa](https://cantonnews.org/projects/canborsa), a crypto and RWA perpetual DEX, today announced that Canton Coin ($CC) can now be used as collateral across all markets on the platform. The update lets $CC holders open perpetual positions on any available market directly, without first converting into a stablecoin.

Previously, traders holding $CC needed to swap into a stablecoin to post margin. With this change, $CC holders can use the token itself as trading capital while maintaining their underlying exposure, whether increasing a position or hedging against downside risk.

$CC is the native token of Canton Network, the privacy-enabled blockchain built for institutional finance and used by firms including DTCC, Goldman Sachs, and Visa. By expanding $CC's role as collateral, Canborsa deepens the token's utility and strengthens its integration with the Canton ecosystem.

To mark the launch, Canborsa is running a 14-day trading competition. The top 10 traders on the leaderboard will share 5,000 $CC, with 500 $CC awarded to each. In addition, a daily boost awards 250 $CC to one randomly selected trader who completes at least $1,000 in volume that day.
