# Cancore’s USDCx–USDC Route Goes Live Between Canton and Ethereum

Cancore has launched a USDCx–USDC route between Canton and Ethereum, creating a live path on its platform for USDCx on Canton and USDC on Ethereum.

The route moves stablecoin liquidity through one atomic settlement flow. Assets remain with their respective counterparties until settlement completes, bringing the two sides into a single settlement process.

USDCx is the USDC-backed stablecoin available on Canton through Circle xReserve. In its [original launch announcement](https://www.circle.com/blog/usdcx-on-canton-now-available-via-circle-xreserve), Circle explains that USDCx gives developers and users access to cross-chain USDC liquidity and is interoperable with USDC across supported chains.

The new route places the USDCx–USDC pairing on Cancore. [Cancore announced the launch on August 12](https://x.com/cancore_io/status/2087565307066150925), with more pairs planned.
