# Ember Treasury Is Live on Canton, With Trading on Cantex

Ember Protocol has [introduced Ember Treasury (USTY)](https://x.com/EmberProtocol/status/2087181436746944524), which it describes as tokenized U.S. Treasury bills built for onchain markets. Ember says the product is live on Canton. Its announcement said trading would launch that day on a first venue, with further venues planned in the following days.

Ember is positioning USTY as a Treasury-bill product for onchain markets. [Cantex describes it](https://x.com/Cantex_io/status/2087236533992464419) as tracking short-duration U.S. Treasury bills, with yield accruing in the token price.

### Trading starts on Cantex

On August 11, Cantex announced USTY on its platform. Later that day, [Ember confirmed](https://x.com/EmberProtocol/status/2087245560222790078) that USTY was live for trading on Cantex.

USTY is now available for trading on Cantex. Ember said several more venues would follow in the days after the announcement.
