# Float seeks Featured App status for its Canton swap service

SwapSo, the team behind Slay Money, has applied for Featured App status for [Float](https://myfloat.cc). The application was published on September 20, after the swap service processed its first real customer order on Canton MainNet on September 7.

Float lets users exchange assets such as Bitcoin, Ether, USDC and SOL for Canton Coin, or convert CC back into another supported cryptocurrency. It compares quotes from three exchange partners across more than 2,000 supported assets, with the best available quote selected by default.

To buy CC, a user enters their Canton account identifier, known as a party ID, and pays an address created for that order. The exchange partner sends CC to Float, which forwards it to the customer's Canton account. To swap out of CC, the user sends it to Float and the exchange partner pays the chosen asset to the user's destination address.

Slay Money is Float's first partner platform. Other wallets and apps can add the service using an embedded interface or a direct software connection. Float's [integration documentation](https://myfloat.cc/docs) sets out a partner commission of 0.2% of each swap, paid in CC.

The Featured App request proposes rewards for one outbound CC transfer per completed customer order. Refunds, internal treasury movements and administrative transactions would be excluded. If approved, SwapSo plans to use the rewards to support partner incentives, lower user fees and further wallet integrations.
