# Grofty expands Lens with portfolio tracking and developer tools

Grofty has [outlined an expanded toolkit for Lens](https://x.com/grofty_labs/status/2106421260213510585), its Canton market-data service. The October 3 announcement covers historical exports, shareable dashboards, portfolio tracking, price alerts and developer tools, alongside a route finder on token pages.

Historical data can be downloaded as Excel or CSV files, giving users a way to take daily prices, trading volume and asset values into their own analysis. Historical exports were documented in the [September 30 releases](https://lens.grofty.cc/docs/changelog), ahead of the latest public announcement.

Portfolio tracking lets users add positions manually or import holdings from Grofty Wallet. Shareable dashboards add a way to present market information together. [Price alerts](https://lens.grofty.cc/docs/alerts) notify logged-in users of notable moves through browser notifications while a Lens tab is open.

Developers can use [JavaScript and Python clients](https://lens.grofty.cc/docs/sdks), plus an OpenAPI specification describing the available endpoints. These build on the documented JSON API included in Lens’s earlier launch. API requests require a key from an active plan.

The update extends Lens beyond checking current prices, with tools for following positions, exporting history and integrating Canton market data into other applications.
