# Next Finance Tech receives one additional Canton MainNet validator allocation

Next Finance Tech has received [one additional MainNet validator node allocation](https://lists.sync.global/g/supervalidator-announce/message/605) on Canton. The Japan-based blockchain infrastructure company appears in the Canton Foundation's September 21 allocation notice, alongside other organizations receiving additional allocations.

The awards were made by the voting representatives of the Foundation's Tokenomics Working Group. Network capacity and ongoing health assessments guide the allocation process. The notice assigns one MainNet allocation to Next Finance Tech but does not provide an activation date or confirm that an additional node is running.

The company was already part of Canton. Its [August 26, 2025 announcement](https://nxt-fintech.com/ja/news/84/) confirmed that it had joined as a validator earlier that month, bringing experience operating nodes on Ethereum and other blockchains. Supporting stable network operations and helping Japanese financial institutions engage with blockchain-based finance were among its stated priorities.

Next Finance Tech provides node operations and staking services to corporate clients in Japan and overseas. Its work also includes digital-asset management systems and consulting. The company is a [wholly owned subsidiary of Coincheck Group](https://nxt-fintech.com/en/news/99/).
