Japanese crypto asset exchange [OKJ](https://www.okcoin.jp/) will begin supporting Canton Coin (CC) on July 15, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. JST.

CC will be available through OKJ’s exchange, brokerage, recurring purchase, deposit and withdrawal services. The supported network is Canton Network.

The launch will bring the number of crypto assets available on OKJ to 54. CC will also become available for order-book trading through a Japanese crypto asset exchange provider for the first time.

Canton Coin is the native token of Canton Network, a privacy-enabled Layer 1 blockchain developed by Digital Asset for institutional markets.

Canton Network supports regulated financial applications, including bonds, repurchase agreements and the tokenization of real-world assets. Its “network of networks” architecture enables participating institutions to control privacy and permissions independently.

CC is used to pay fees for the Global Synchronizer, the infrastructure that coordinates transactions across Canton Network. It also provides rewards to validators—including Super Validators—and application developers.
