# OneSwap Launches First 'Pump.fun-Style' Token Launchpad on Canton Network

[**OneSwap**](https://cantonnews.org/projects/oneswap) has announced what it's calling the first "Pump.fun-like" token launchpad on Canton Network, aiming to make launching a token on Canton as fast and simple as creating one on Solana's most popular launchpad model.

According to the [**announcement**](https://x.com/Oneswapcc/status/2087947882548855144), the process is designed to take under a minute from start to trade. Users can create a token in under a minute, add liquidity and make it tradeable within seconds, and then launch, trade, and earn on OneSwap, all without needing deep technical knowledge of Canton's infrastructure.

The launchpad addresses a gap that has existed on Canton Network so far. While the network has built a strong institutional footprint around tokenized Treasuries, repo, and real-world assets, token creation for smaller projects and community-driven tokens has remained comparatively difficult to access. OneSwap's launchpad is positioned to lower that barrier, bringing a familiar, high-velocity launch mechanism to a network best known for institutional-grade infrastructure.

The launchpad is going live soon, marking what could be a significant expansion of the types of activity happening on Canton Network, beyond the institutional use cases the network has largely been associated with to date.
