# Premia Acquires Raven Market in All-Cash Deal, Absorbing Canton-Native Derivatives Infrastructure

[**Premia**](https://premia.markets/) has acquired **Raven Market** in an all-cash transaction, bringing the Canton-native institutional derivatives platform and all of its technology, intellectual property, pricing models, and infrastructure into Premia's institutional offering.

Raven launched on Canton Network approximately six months ago with a stated aim of building derivatives infrastructure designed for regulated participants on programmable financial infrastructure. The team moved from testnet through private beta, working alongside ecosystem partners including [**BitSafe Finance**](https://cantonnews.org/projects/bitsafe), Chainlink, and [**Loop**](https://cantonnews.org/projects/5n-loop-wallet), before reaching a production-ready state. Raven will no longer operate as an independent product following the acquisition.

Premia currently serves 38 institutional clients and manages more than $127 million in assets under management. The firm became a Canton Network validator as part of its expanding digital asset strategy. Raven's technology will be fully integrated into Premia's core institutional platform, with members of Raven's support and engineering team working alongside Premia through the integration process.
