Rocky and Ember will [work together to expand access to real-world asset markets on Canton](https://x.com/Rocky_exchange/status/2103545074562842849). The cooperation was announced on September 25.

Ember is an investment platform focused on bringing traditional financial products, including commodities, into onchain markets. Its work with Rocky is intended to give Canton users a simpler way to reach those products.

Rocky is [building a Canton trading platform](https://doc.rocky.exchange/overview/readme) for spot and perpetual markets. Spot markets exchange one asset for another, while perpetual contracts provide price exposure without a fixed expiry date. Rocky's [official profile](https://x.com/Rocky_exchange) still lists its wider MainNet launch as coming soon.

The cooperation's focus is access to Ember's markets through Canton. Specific assets, trading pairs and a launch date for the joint work have yet to be announced.
