# Tenkai’s Canton swaps gain recognition under network reward rules

Tenkai’s qualifying multi-asset swaps have [received approval for delivery-versus-payment treatment](https://lists.sync.global/g/tokenomics-announce/message/383) under Canton’s application reward rules. The September 9 decision follows a recommendation from the network’s Accountability Committee.

Tenkai operates [Cansai, a self-custodial wallet and exchange](https://lists.sync.global/g/accountability/message/124). The exchange lets users swap assets while keeping control of their funds.

Delivery versus payment means that the asset being bought and the payment for it change hands together. In the transactions described in Tenkai’s application, the payment, purchased asset and any applicable fees settle as one transaction. Either the whole exchange completes or none of it does.

That distinction matters to Canton’s reward calculations. The committee has recognised these qualifying transactions as exchanges involving multiple assets, rather than simply a batch of operational transfers. Featured assets involved in the activity can receive the corresponding delivery-versus-payment treatment.

Tenkai retains its existing Featured App status. The new decision concerns the classification of its qualifying trading activity, establishing how those swaps are treated under the network’s reward framework.
