> Titan’s testnet is live on Canton, a week after the exchange opened its waitlist. The release gives users a first testing environment for its privacy-focused trading platform.

Titan has [launched its testnet on Canton](https://x.com/TitanExchange_/status/2105667099310141530), moving from a waitlist announcement to a working test environment.

The October 1 release follows the exchange’s [waitlist opening on September 24](https://x.com/TitanExchange_/status/2103135854780989922). Users can now visit the [Titan testnet](https://testnet.titanx.cc/), whose trading app is presented as a perpetual futures exchange on Canton.

Privacy is central to Titan’s approach. Its launch announcement focuses on private order books, the lists of buy and sell orders used to match trades. The testnet gives the project a place to put that approach in front of users before a production release.

This is a testnet launch, not the opening of MainNet trading. The announcement does not provide a MainNet date, a confirmed production market list or details of rewards for taking part. Those remain separate from the test environment now available.
