TreasurySpring has been approved as a [Super Validator on Canton Network](https://x.com/TreasurySpring/status/2100904044562702405) under a milestone-based programme, with the first phase focused on recording the ownership register of its Fixed-Term Fund Shares on Canton's distributed ledger.

TreasurySpring provides institutional clients with access to more than 1,100 investment-grade cash products across nine currencies, with terms ranging from one day to one year. The firm has facilitated more than $430 billion in issuance to date.

Fixed-Term Fund Shares are issued by TreasurySpring's issuing vehicles, each linked to a single underlying cash-equivalent, high-grade fixed-income asset and a specified maturity date. FTFs are issued and mature continuously across multiple currencies and maturities. TreasurySpring intends to record ownership of a material and growing proportion of newly issued Fixed-Term Fund Shares on Canton's ledger, with those on-ledger ownership entries, together with associated off-ledger records identifying each approved holder, intended to constitute the authoritative record of ownership.

The first phase is a backend infrastructure upgrade with no change to the client experience. Clients will continue to use the platform and established subscription and settlement processes as before. They will not be required to operate a wallet or manage cryptographic keys. The Transfer Agent will continue to administer the register and perform its existing responsibilities.

The approval adds a significant fixed-income infrastructure provider to Canton's Super Validator set at a moment when the network is seeing accelerating institutional deployment across settlement, tokenisation, and fund administration use cases.
