[Unhedged](https://cantonnews.org/projects/unhedged) has detailed the rewards available through its referral program, with benefits for both existing users and the people they invite to its Canton prediction-market platform.

An inviter receives 15% of a referred user’s eligible net fees for 90 days. The referred user gets 10% of eligible net fees back for 30 days, up to a total of $10. The [September 29 update](https://x.com/UnhedgedHQ/status/2104877324823118252) sets out both sides of the arrangement.

The timing starts with trading, rather than registration. Both reward periods begin with the referred user’s first eligible trade, which must take place within 30 days of signup.

The percentages apply to eligible net fees. They are not a return on the amount deposited, the value of a trade or a user’s account balance.

[Unhedged’s prediction markets](https://unhedged.gg/start) cover crypto-price outcomes, sports and esports. Traders choose an outcome and buy shares tied to it, with settlement determined by each market’s rules. Individual positions and trading activity are not displayed to other traders, while market prices and results remain public.

The referral program adds a fee-based incentive alongside those markets. Its two reward periods are different, so the inviter’s 90-day window continues beyond the referred user’s 30-day rebate window.
