# Zenith and IntellectEU work with TACEO on private Canton integrations

Zenith and IntellectEU are working with [TACEO's Merces privacy technology](https://core.taceo.io/articles/merces-mainnet/) on two integrations connecting Canton with the wider financial system.

IntellectEU is adding Merces to its CatalyX platform, which coordinates payments across different systems. The work is designed to keep payment details confidential as a bank uses Swift messaging, Canton and other public blockchains, while retaining its existing payment infrastructure.

[Zenith's integration](https://x.com/ZenithFdn/status/2103130427363922165) focuses on applications built for its Ethereum-compatible environment on Canton. Merces supports shared financial records that several participants can use without exposing all of the underlying information to each other.

That matters for products such as investment funds. A fund needs to check who is eligible to hold it, apply ownership limits and distribute returns. Merces is built to apply those rules across holders while keeping their accounts and balances private. It also supports screening before a transaction runs and disclosure of selected records for an auditor or regulator.

TACEO launched Merces on Monad and World Chain on September 24. The Canton-related integrations are being developed alongside that rollout. Zenith is preparing its EVM testnet, with [public access still upcoming](https://x.com/ZenithFdn/status/2103080692863099091).

IntellectEU and TACEO will also demonstrate their work at Sibos, with a session [scheduled for September 30](https://x.com/catalyx_suite/status/2103130103571947855).
