Cashen is moving beyond Featured App compliance, and its next direction is becoming more interesting.
With CIP-116 creating demand for Featured App locks,
@Cashen_cc has already established a marketplace for institutional $CC holders to supply the capital apps need without transferring custody.
Now, CIP-105 opens another important market: Super Validators.
Instead of tying up their own capital to maintain reward weight,
validators can source locks from third party holders while preserving tier eligibility.
Suppliers retain custody, earn fixed interest, and avoid the principal credit risk associated with lending.
But the bigger picture goes beyond locking.
Cashen is building toward a more efficient institutional capital market on Canton (we all know that by now).
where locked capital can be sourced, managed, and eventually settled on-chain.
Its work with the Canton Foundationโs Collateral Subcommittee also points toward a broader role in cross application collateral mobility.
With over 500M CC in live locking deals and 75 plus institutions onboarded, the foundation is already taking more shapes.
The next phase to watch is deeper Super Validator adoption, greater capital mobility, and the transition toward on-chain settlement.
@Cashen_cc isn't just helping institutions meet locking requirements.
It's building infrastructure around how capital moves across Canton.
