Zenith

Zenith was born out of a specific insight identified in late 2023: while institutions were quietly moving trillions onto the Canton Network, the Ethereum and Solana ecosystems had almost no clean pathway to participate. Founders Heslin Kim and Teemu Päivinen identified the missing piece and committed to building it.

As a Tier-1 Super Validator securing Canton's Global Synchronizer — alongside Nasdaq, DTCC, Visa, Circle, and Chainlink — Zenith operates at the core of Canton's governance and infrastructure, participating in key ecosystem-level initiatives including the Ecosystem Fund.

Zenith delivers four core capabilities for Canton participants:

• 100% Ethereum-compatible: Existing Solidity applications can be deployed with zero code changes, using familiar Ethereum tooling. SVM support is forthcoming.
• Access to institutional flows: Builders can tap into Canton's institutional ecosystem and earn from the 62% of monthly $CC incentives allocated to applications based on real usage.
• Native atomic composability: Applications deployed on Zenith interact atomically with DAML contracts, tokenized assets, and private Canton subnets — with no external bridges required.
• Built for regulated finance: Zenith enables developers to deploy inside a privacy-preserving, compliant environment aligned with Canton's design for regulated financial use cases.

Canton is one of the few networks where real financial activity already exists at institutional scale. Zenith positions Canton as an environment with $9T+ in monthly volume, major market infrastructure participants, privacy-preserving settlement, and a growing application rewards model.

For Zenith, Canton is not only a settlement layer; it is the institutional environment that lets EVM and SVM applications compose with real-world assets, private workflows, and regulated financial counterparties.

Zenith operates at the intersection of three things that are rarely combined: Tier-1 Super Validator status with maximum voting weight on the Global Synchronizer, 100% EVM compatibility for Solidity developers, and native atomic composability with DAML contracts and Canton's institutional infrastructure. No other project occupies this position in the Canton ecosystem.

EVM Deployment

Zenith lets Solidity teams redeploy applications into Canton Mainnet with minimal changes, using familiar tooling while routing execution through Canton.

Canton Composability

Applications deployed through Zenith can interact with Canton-native assets, institutional settlement rails, and DAML-based workflows through the network’s atomic settlement model.

SVM Roadmap

SVM support is part of the broader roadmap, giving Solana-native applications a future path into Canton as well.

Zenith is strategically important because it connects the largest public-chain developer ecosystems with Canton’s institutional network. That makes Canton easier to build on and gives existing EVM teams a direct route into private, regulated-grade settlement.

Applications built on Zenith may be eligible for $CC application rewards based on real usage under the Canton ecosystem incentive model.

Zenith’s near-term focus is activating more EVM applications on Canton, expanding developer and business-development capacity, and preparing the path for SVM support. The broader goal is to migrate application layers into Canton rather than only bridging assets between chains.
