We're building infrastructure that global financial institutions depend on, now we need the engineer who makes sure it never goes down. Zenith is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. This is a role for someone who has owned production reliability solo before, built the processes around it from scratch, and is ready to do it again at the intersection of institutional finance and blockchain infrastructure. You'll design and implement incident response, observability, monitoring, and on-call systems while supporting Canton validator operations and Zenith Stack client deployments. As Zenith scales, you'll grow a team around it. We're looking for 7+ years in SRE or platform engineering, deep Kubernetes expertise, and a proven track record owning mission-critical distributed systems. Experience with blockchain infrastructure or high-availability financial systems is a strong bonus. Remote-first, Europe strongly preferred. Apply here: Zth.

The Sequencer is one of two components in Canton’s Global Synchronizer infrastructure, alongside the Mediator. Its role is ordering transactions. The Sequencer determines the definitive order in which transaction messages are processed. This ordering prevents double-spends and ensures that all validators agree on the same sequence of events. The Sequencer does not see transaction contents. It sees only encrypted envelopes and orders them. The contents are decrypted only by the parties involved in each transaction. Ordering without visibility and finality without exposure.
📡 New Canton Insiders is up. @bohdaoo sat down with @novesben, Co-Founder & CEO of @Noves_fi, on what it took to build data infrastructure for a chain whose job is keeping the data private. We covered the inverted architecture (the Data App runs inside each validator's security context, never sends anything out), the gaps still left in @CantonNetwork tooling for operators, and what Noves is building next around secure data transport. Also touched on something we've been working on together – a native CatalyX and Noves integration that will let validators on CatalyX Blockchain Manager use the Noves Data App directly. More on that soon. 📽️Watch the full episode:
