Cantex has passed $200 million in reported trading volume. The milestone arrived just over eight days after the platform announced it had crossed $150 million.
The Canton-native trading platform announced the latest figure on August 28. Its previous volume update was published on August 20.
Cantex lets users trade Canton assets without handing control of their funds to the platform. Its current release offers private on-chain accounts, token swaps and a live record of balances and completed trades.
Access expanded on August 25 with Cantex Connect. Instead of opening Cantex, a user can send an asset from a compatible Canton wallet and name the token they want in the transfer memo. When the trade completes, the requested asset is returned to the same wallet.
Connect currently supports more than 100 trading pairs, and swaps typically complete in 10 to 15 seconds.
