CanTrustAI has added USDCx, cETH and USDxlr as payment options for its AI service on Canton. The September 7 update gives developers and automated AI agents more ways to pay for individual requests.
The service uses x402, which connects a software request with its payment. An agent can ask an AI model for a response and handle the payment as part of that request. Each query is paid for separately, with settlement on Canton and no subscription or API key required.
The new options build on CanTrustAI’s Canton Coin payment integration, introduced on June 16. That integration lets agents request an AI response, pay with CC and receive the result without signing up or creating an account.
A July 22 update expanded the model selection to include GPT, Claude, Grok, Gemini and Llama. All five were made available through the same pay-per-request service using CC.
