Background
Perp liquidity lives on EVM chains, siloed venue by venue, Canton had no way to access it despite offering the privacy and settlement perps actually need. mperps closes that gap: instead of building a new venue and asking liquidity to migrate, it ports EVM's existing perp liquidity (BTC, ETH, Gold, Oil, stocks) directly onto Canton, making mperps Canton's first perpetual offering.
To make that worth it for traders, mperps stacks rewards across three tiers: CC tokens (Canton), M-points (mperps), and backend venue points ($Aster/$Hype/$LIT), so routing through mperps never costs you what you'd earn trading direct.

Behind the Scenes
A trader connects through a non-custodial Canton smart account (DAML-based, with session keys for low-friction signing). When they submit an order, Zeromile - mperps' routing engine - polls live price and depth across all connected perp DEXs, computes the optimal execution path factoring in price, depth, fees, and latency, and broadcasts that decision in under 100ms.
The order is then routed to the winning venue for execution. Cross-venue order composition (splitting a single order across multiple venues) is being built on Canton's atomic transaction guarantees, so a split order either fills completely across all legs or reverts entirely, there's no partial-fill or stranded-capital risk.
Positions, permissions, and account data stay visible only to authorized parties at the Canton layer via DAML's sub-transaction privacy model, rather than being broadcast network-wide.
