Send has launched Send Connect, a browser extension that gives users a native wallet experience for interacting with Canton Network applications directly from their browser.

The extension is available now on the Chrome Web Store. Once installed, users can connect to Canton applications, approve transactions using passkeys, manage Canton accounts, and interact with the network without leaving the browser.

Send Connect implements the Canton wallet standard, allowing applications to detect and communicate with the extension through a shared interface. When a user visits a supported Canton application, the app detects Send Connect, the user connects their wallet, the application requests a transaction, and the user approves it with their passkey. The transaction is then submitted to Canton.

The launch addresses a gap that has existed in the Canton ecosystem. While other major blockchain networks have established consumer browser wallets, MetaMask for Ethereum, Phantom for Solana, Canton has until now lacked a widely accessible browser-based wallet that allows users to move across applications without friction. That absence has been a practical barrier for application developers whose growth depends on users being able to connect and transact quickly.

As more applications launch on Canton, Send Connect is positioned as the access layer connecting everyday users to the network.
