Tradecraft has reported that the total value locked across its Canton liquidity pools has passed $3 million.

The company’s update covers the combined value held across its pools. Tradecraft did not include a pool-by-pool breakdown with the announcement.

Tradecraft is a live exchange built on Canton where users can trade supported assets or provide liquidity. That liquidity supplies the assets needed for swaps to take place.

Providing liquidity involves adding a pair of assets to a pool. In return, the provider receives tokens representing their share of that pool and can earn a portion of the fees generated by trading activity.

Tradecraft explains the process in its official liquidity guide.

The platform uses what Tradecraft calls Pool Addresses to direct wallet requests to the correct action. A user sends an asset transfer offer to the relevant address, and Tradecraft handles the operation and return transfer together. If the process cannot be completed, the original offer remains in place until it expires.

TVL measures the value sitting in those pools at a given moment. It provides a snapshot of the liquidity available to support trading, while volume tracks the value of completed trades over time.

Passing $3 million marks a new company-reported milestone for one of Canton’s live trading applications and the pool-based market operating around it.
