TreasurySpring has won approval for a Canton plan targeting $5 billion in outstanding fund shares and $20 billion in cumulative issuance within 12 months of the proposal’s September 9 approval. The program links its Super Validator rewards to milestones for bringing those ownership records onto the network.

The cash investment platform offers Fixed-Term Fund Shares, or FTFs. Each gives investors exposure to a single underlying asset with a set maturity date. The range includes government securities and short-term lending backed by collateral, with maturities from one day to one year.

Canton will hold the ownership records for fund shares included in the rollout. The $5 billion target measures their value while still outstanding. The separate $20 billion target counts the total value of newly issued FTFs first registered on Canton after approval, including shares that mature during the period.

The rollout starts with a three-month milestone of $10 million outstanding and $15 million in cumulative issuance. Further stages raise both targets, reaching $1 billion outstanding by month six and $5 billion by month twelve.

TreasurySpring can earn a maximum Super Validator reward weight of four through the program. Each stage requires evidence that its targets have been reached, including maintaining the relevant outstanding balance for a month after the deadline. Ongoing issuance and balance requirements also apply.

TreasurySpring already operates a Canton validator. Its initial Super Validator allocation will be hosted on its behalf, with milestone rewards released through the network’s review and approval process.
