ZeroVaultID has brought its validator online on Canton Network’s MainNet. It went live on August 28, with the company announcing the activation the following day.
Founded in New York, ZeroVaultID is developing tools designed to let institutions share proof of compliance checks, such as sanctions screening, without exchanging customer identity files. The institution still makes the compliance decision. Another party would be able to verify the result without receiving the underlying documents.
Its Passport product is designed to show that a participant has cleared a specific compliance check. Cert Seal is designed to link that proof to the settlement of a financial transaction.
The team has already carried out tests on Canton’s public development network, DevNet. It is now selecting one partner for its first MainNet product deployment.
The plan is to start with one financial instrument. ZeroVaultID’s compliance proof would run alongside the partner’s existing controls, with no change to how the partner settles transactions.
