Canton today: trading tools, a rewards proposal and new community access

CCTools adds trading-pair discovery, R13N links most of its funding request to use by other projects, and The Hub opens another invitation wave. Plus StrategyForge’s pilot and two trading-calendar updates.

3 min read

CCTools has added a new way to find Canton trading pairs, The Hub is inviting more users, and R13N has revised its funding request for rewards software. This edition also catches up on StrategyForge’s trading pilot and two trading-calendar updates.

This edition covers updates since the previous Canton today, published October 17 at 00:07 UTC, plus two earlier developments not included in that roundup. Sources checked October 18, 2026.

Finding markets and managing trades

1. CCTools brings trading pairs and venues into one view

CCTools has added spot-pool data to its market-discovery tools. Its October 16 update highlights CC pairs with USDCx, CBTC and cETH on Tradecraft, alongside CC/USDC.B on Pool-Party.

Users can inspect a pool and its data source before opening the platform where the trade takes place. CCTools provides the discovery screen; it does not execute the trade.

USDCx and USDC.B remain separate labels rather than being combined as though they were the same instrument. The addition sits alongside its expanded portfolio tracker, which follows supported holdings and positions.

2. StrategyForge offers a pilot for automated trading

Qasara’s October 15 StrategyForge announcement predates this edition’s main window but was not included in the previous roundup. The service is in pilot on Temple, Tradecraft and Cantex, with applicants admitted as places open.

StrategyForge’s available plans can make scheduled purchases, place orders at chosen prices and manage buy and sell quotes on Temple. Other plans swap gradually on Tradecraft or trade price differences between Tradecraft and Cantex.

Users set position and loss limits and can pause or stop an agent. Optional AI adjustments can change the spacing and pace of market-making orders, but not those limits. The software automates trading within a chosen plan; it does not remove market risk.

Rewards and community access

3. R13N ties most of its revised funding request to adoption

R13N Labs has revised its Canton Reward Engine proposal, making 56.67% of its maximum 3,636,363.64 CC request conditional on verified MainNet adoption. The October 17 revision remains a funding proposal, not an approved grant or product launch.

The proposed open-source software would let applications set campaign rules, calculate what participants have earned and distribute sponsor-funded rewards. A lending platform or trading venue could use common tools instead of building its own campaign system.

Each qualifying adopter must be independent, run a funded MainNet campaign for at least 30 days, complete two finalized distributions and have rewards claimed by at least ten distinct external users. Separate payments depend on reaching three and then five qualifying adopters, with another allocation for two adopters using confirmed Featured Apps. Every payment requires committee acceptance.

4. The Hub starts another access-code onboarding wave

The Hub is bringing in another group of users through access codes offered on October 17. Entry remains invitation-based, with a waitlist on the official website.

The Canton social platform connects X profiles with on-chain identities and uses tickets for creator discovery and interaction. The new onboarding instructions cover registration, wallet setup and starting a creator ticket pool. Creators can collect commissions when others buy their tickets.

Dates to watch

Tritemius: a CC–Bitcoin Lightning trading competition is scheduled for October 19–November 30, with 15,000 CC in prizes and up to 35 winners. Its full rules cover volume, swap activity and randomly selected participant rewards.

Canborsa: two Halloween raffles have 20 prizes valued at $750 in total. The CC-collateral draw requires $10,000 in perpetual futures trading volume; the stablecoin draw requires $5,000 using USDT, USDC or USDCx as collateral. Winners will be selected randomly and announced November 1.
