Canborsa’s AI assistant can now answer market and portfolio questions inside its trading interface, OneSwap has introduced automatic network-fee refunds for selected swaps, and a funding vote has opened for a Canton governance app.
This edition also covers Console Wallet’s mobile update and two public-market developments to follow in November: a watchlist entry for Canton Strategic Holdings and the registration timetable for a proposed Canton Coin ETF.
These six updates were not included in the previous Canton today. The announcements are dated October 15–16, 2026; sources were rechecked on October 16 at 22:34 UTC.
Trading tools and wallet access
1. Canborsa expands its in-app AI assistant
Canborsa has expanded its built-in AI assistant to handle questions about prices, funding rates, order conditions and users’ portfolios. It can discuss balances, open positions and profit or loss, as well as explain the platform’s features.
The assistant accepts typed or spoken questions, remembers conversations and supports 13 languages. For users, the immediate benefit is having market information and account questions in the trading screen, without moving between tabs. Opening positions or placing orders through the assistant remains a planned next step.
2. OneSwap introduces automatic fee refunds for selected swaps
Selected swaps on OneSwap can now receive an automatic refund of their network fee. Users do not need to take an extra action to participate.
The promotion adds a chance of a refund to the platform’s existing v2 swap engine and prepaid network-fee system.
3. Console highlights its WalletConnect update
Console Wallet’s version 2.4.1 announcement directs mobile users to update through the App Store or Google Play for WalletConnect improvements. WalletConnect is used to connect a wallet with applications.
A vote on how Super Validators take part
4. Digital Asset’s governance funding request enters a vote
A 21-day Development Fund vote has opened on Digital Asset’s request for 1 million CC to develop an app for Super Validator voting.
The proposed system would let a node operator authorise another party to vote through a compatible wallet. Each Super Validator node would still have one vote. Delegation would change who can submit it, not increase the node’s voting rights.
The practical aim is to separate governance decisions from day-to-day node operations. A designated representative could submit a vote without needing the operator’s own access. Funding remains under consideration.
November’s public-market watchlist
5. Canton Strategic Holdings appears on an MSCI watchlist
Canton Strategic Holdings appears as “on Watchlist” in MSCI’s list of companies potentially affected by its new screening rules for non-operating companies. That is not a confirmed index removal.
The company has been refocusing its business on Canton. MSCI’s review concerns the listed company’s eligibility under its financial screens, not the eligibility or operation of the Canton network.
MSCI will publish the final affected-company list on November 11. The methodology changes are scheduled to take effect at the close of November 30.
6. REX-Osprey’s Canton Coin ETF filing sets a November date
An October 15 filing by ETF Opportunities Trust designates November 13 as the new effective date for an existing registration amendment relating to the proposed REX-Osprey Canton Coin ETF.
The date concerns registration; it is not an announcement of SEC approval or a confirmed trading launch.
Separate November milestones: the proposed REX-Osprey fund’s registration timetable and MSCI’s index review. The fund date is not a confirmed launch, and Canton Strategic Holdings’ watchlist entry is not an announced removal.
