I think one of the more interesting updates from @Canborsa_DEX is the new way $CC can be used on the platform.
Previously, if you wanted to trade perps, you’d usually have to think about getting into a stablecoin first.
Now that changes.
$CC can be used directly as collateral for perpetual trading on Canborsa.
That means you can hold your $CC, use it as collateral, and trade the CC/USDCx pair without having to swap your position into a stablecoin before opening a trade.
And honestly, that makes the whole flow feel a lot more straightforward.
You can go long or short, with up to 5x leverage, while still keeping your $CC exposure.
That part is important.
You’re not necessarily moving away from $CC just because you want to trade. Your $CC is actually part of the trading position.
For me, this is the kind of product update that makes an ecosystem feel more useful.
It’s one thing to have a token.
It’s another thing to actually give holders more things they can do with it.
And now $CC has another use case inside Canborsa.
There’s also a trading competition attached to the launch 👀
5,000 $CC is being distributed to the top 10 traders, ranked by CC/USDCx trading volume over a 2-week period.
So there’s an actual reason to put the new market through its paces rather than simply looking at the feature and moving on.
On top of that, there are new quests that come with points, which adds another layer for people who like being active and contributing to the ecosystem.
The bigger picture is what interests me most.
Crypto products become much more useful when the assets inside them aren't just something you hold and stare at.
If $CC can function as an asset you hold and collateral you can actively use for trading, that gives the token a more practical role within the Canborsa ecosystem.
No unnecessary swap just to get started.
Hold $CC → use it as collateral → choose your direction → trade.
Simple enough.
I’m definitely curious to see how much activity the CC/USDCx market gets now that $CC holders can put their holdings to work in a completely different way.
