CANTON 1.0.13: Zero-Fork Versioning

On standard blockchains, updating protocol rules requires network-wide coordination, often resulting in contentious hard forks and chain splits.

@CantonNetwork introduces multi-version support. Participant nodes running different minor protocol releases can coexist on the same domain and execute shared smart contracts seamlessly.

Frictionless software updates. Zero network splits. Uninterrupted institutional operations.

My take: I think this is one of the most practical features for enterprise adoption. In the real world, organizations don't all upgrade their systems at the same time. Zero-Fork Versioning lets participants adopt new protocol versions at their own pace without interrupting operations or forcing the entire network to upgrade together.
