Everyone talks about tokenizing assets.

Treasuries, bonds, equities, commodities, and many other real-world assets are steadily moving on-chain. It is an important milestone for the industry, but I don't think tokenization is the finish line.

To me, it is only the beginning.

A tokenized asset only becomes truly useful when it can move through real financial workflows. It should be possible to use it as collateral, trade it efficiently, settle it with confidence, and interact with other applications without unnecessary friction.

That is why I believe liquidity matters just as much as issuance.

From everything the Canton ecosystem has been building, this seems to be the next stage of its evolution.

Canton was designed differently from most public blockchains. Instead of exposing every transaction to the entire network, it introduces selective visibility, allowing only the relevant parties to access sensitive transaction information while still supporting compliance, auditability, and settlement finality.

For institutional finance, this difference is significant.

Banks, asset managers, trading firms, and market infrastructure providers often require privacy—not to avoid regulation, but to protect trading intent, counterparties, and operational workflows.

As more institutional assets move onto Canton, another question naturally follows:

Where will these assets actually be traded?

Where will liquidity come from?

How can markets remain efficient while respecting institutional requirements?

This is where I think @Rocky_exchange becomes interesting.

That gives me confidence that the team is focused on building infrastructure rather than chasing short-term attention.

Looking ahead, I believe the success of tokenized assets will not be determined only by how many assets are issued on-chain.

It will also depend on whether those assets can be traded efficiently, supplied with liquidity, settled securely, and integrated into real financial activity.

Infrastructure creates the foundation.

Liquidity creates the network effect.

From my perspective, Rocky has the opportunity to become one of the building blocks that helps connect those two layers within the Canton ecosystem.
