There was a time when bringing EVM applications into Canton meant thinking about the gap between two different environments.
Zenith is set to remove that.
First is the foundation, co-architecting with Digital Asset, becoming a Tier-1 Super Validator, and building Zenith as Canton’s EVM execution layer.
Then the testing began.
@ZenithFdn crossed over 500k EVM transactions with a 100% success rate and around 1.5s average latency.
But the real breakthrough came next.
Zenith demonstrated an atomic swap between a Canton native CIP-56 asset and an ERC-20 on Zenith.
A Canton only user interacted with an EVM only user.
Neither needed to understand the other environment.
No bridge.
No wrapped asset.
No separate settlement layer.
Just one atomic transaction.
The piece making this possible is allowing Daml and Solidity logic to interact while the entire operation settles through Canton’s Global Synchronizer.
That’s the milestone Zenith has reached already.
EVM applications aren't just connected to Canton. They're becoming composable with it.
And this is only the beginning.
