DC Fintech Week has convened leaders across government, industry, and technology since 2017. Its programme covers digital assets, artificial intelligence, payments, policy, and financial inclusion. The organisers describe it as one of the few public forums where senior government leaders engage directly with the broader market on the conversations shaping the future of finance.
For Digital Asset, the sponsorship puts Canton in front of the policymakers and regulators who set the rules for tokenised markets. It also comes as the company’s work increasingly reaches into public-sector use cases. In August, Digital Asset and the American Idea Foundation announced a pilot to use Canton as the technology foundation for state benefit distribution under the RISE programme, subject to federal approvals.
