HackCanton Season 3 has drawn around 450 builders from 48 countries, with 353 unique registrations recorded in AppsFactory’s September 26 update.
Most are new to the competition. The registration figures show that 82% are taking part in HackCanton for the first time, while 59% signed up alone and were looking for a team. Another 68% registered without a fixed idea, leaving room to develop a project during the event.
Alongside the participation update, AppsFactory has highlighted a 10,000 CC Grofty wallet and onboarding bounty, open to projects across every Season 3 track. First place receives 5,000 CC, second receives 3,000 CC and third receives 2,000 CC.
The challenge is to build a complete, working user journey on Canton MainNet using Grofty. Small transaction amounts are accepted. The emphasis is on getting the experience to work from beginning to end, rather than moving a large amount of money.
For entrants still shaping an idea, the bounty offers a specific problem to work on: helping someone get started and complete an action on Canton through a functioning wallet experience. Teams can find the full requirements on the HackCanton Season 3 challenge page.
