Palladium Labs has joined the DTC Digital Assets Solutions Industry Working Group, the body shaping the development of DTCC's Tokenization Service alongside more than 100 firms including BlackRock, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, NYSE, and Nasdaq.
The Canton-native research and engineering firm behind Alpend will contribute a builder's perspective to the group, focusing specifically on what tokenised assets can do once they are on-chain, across lending, collateral, and settlement workflows. That focus distinguishes Palladium's contribution from the large financial institutions and market infrastructure providers that make up the majority of the working group, most of which are approaching tokenisation from an issuance or custody standpoint.
Alpend, Palladium's credit protocol on Canton Network, crossed $3 million in total value locked this week, giving the firm direct operational experience of how tokenised assets behave inside lending and borrowing markets on institutional blockchain infrastructure.
DTCC's Tokenization Service is scheduled for commercial launch in October 2026, following production trades completed on July 15 with more than 30 participating firms.
