BitGo has closed its Canton maintenance notice, returning its Canton service to operational status after the scheduled MainNet upgrade.
The notice was marked resolved on October 10 at 14:45 UTC. It had been opened the previous day for the network-wide Logical Synchronizer Upgrade, the process used for the planned move to CantonBFT.

A post-upgrade confirmation from Tritemius Labs describes CantonBFT replacing CometBFT as the network’s transaction-ordering system. Ordering determines the sequence in which transactions are processed. The change concerns shared Canton infrastructure, rather than a BitGo-only update.
The maintenance window involved two separate restrictions. A 24-hour freeze on changes to the network’s configuration was scheduled from October 9 at 13:00 UTC to October 10 at 13:00 UTC. During that period, new Canton wallets could not be initialised through BitGo, while ordinary transfers were expected to continue.
The operator timetable then allowed for a short transaction pause at the migration itself. The day-long configuration freeze was therefore not a planned 24-hour halt to transfers.
For BitGo customers, the update closes the maintenance notice associated with those restrictions. It follows the upgrade timetable covered earlier by CantonNews.
