The Canton Foundation has been named a platinum sponsor of WebX2026, Asia's largest Web3 conference, taking place July 13 and 14, 2026 at The Prince Park Tower Tokyo.
The sponsorship gives Canton Network direct visibility into the Japanese and broader Asian market at a conference that brings together institutions, projects, investors, government officials, and media from across the Web3 space. For the Canton Foundation, the participation is an opportunity to communicate the role of institutional blockchain infrastructure in financial markets to an audience where that conversation is increasingly relevant.
"The Canton Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization responsible for the governance and long-term development of the Canton Network's shared infrastructure," said Thomas Chou, Head of APAC Operations at the Canton Foundation. "This aims to ensure that Canton Network remains a reliable, fair, and secure platform supporting institutional-level blockchain applications."
WebX has been held annually since 2023, planned and organised by CoinPost, a Tokyo-based media company specialising in cryptocurrency and blockchain coverage. The 2026 edition continues its focus on cross-industry exchange across blockchain, digital assets, and adjacent sectors.
The Canton Foundation handles governance and long-term development of Canton Network's shared infrastructure, supporting transparent decision-making and collaboration across the ecosystem.
