Cenote’s Canton-focused credit work is moving into Kintsu’s wider platform and will continue as Kintsu Capital Markets, according to an August 20 announcement.

The Cenote brand will retire as Kintsu expands beyond liquid staking into confidential credit and digital capital markets. Kintsu’s existing liquid-staking products will remain part of the platform.

Kintsu Capital Markets remains under development. It is being built on Canton to support confidential credit markets, curated market structures and programmable financial infrastructure for tokenized assets. Future product updates and research will be published through Kintsu.

Kintsu’s existing Canton work also includes Kintsu Credit, which launched on Canton TestNet in July. The test environment included isolated lending markets, collateral deposits, borrowing and repayment, lender deposits and withdrawals, interest accrual and Canton-native settlement.

That release identified a private MainNet deployment as the next stage for Kintsu Credit.

Cenote’s account will remain active briefly during the transition before becoming an archive.
