Instead of keeping it, I decided to send some back to the Yessah community.
That’s how I discovered the Multi-Gift feature.
I initially tried using the Lucky Gift option, but ran into a setup issue.
I reached out to the Askardex team and found out that feature is currently being upgraded.
They pointed me toward Multi-Gift.
And honestly?
It was ridiculously simple.
I created the gift, generated the card, dropped it in the Yessah chat and watched everyone rush in to claim their share 😂
But that experience made me realize something:
@askar_dex Gifts aren't just useful for giveaways.
They can make peer-to-peer payments on Canton feel much simpler.
Instead of asking someone for a long wallet address, you can create a gift and share a claim link or QR code.
The recipient claims it directly.
No address-copying gymnastics.
No digging through chats for wallet strings.
Just create → share → claim.
And the interesting part is that the funds are held in the gift mechanism until they're claimed, rather than simply being sent directly to a wallet address.
That's a pretty interesting UX for payments on @CantonNetwork .
If you're building or exploring the Canton ecosystem, this is one feature worth trying for yourself.
