HackCanton is returning for a third season on September 10, opening a five-week online program for builders working on new products for Canton Network.
Builders can register through AppsFactory independently or as part of a team. The official Canton Forum announcement says participants will have access to workshops, mentors, team-formation support and technical help as they move from an idea to a working first version of their product.

The program opens at 12:00 UTC on September 10. Participants then have until October 4 at 23:59 UTC to submit their work. Finalists are scheduled to be announced on October 11, ahead of the live Grand Final on October 14 at 14:00 UTC.
Season 3 offers five tracks. Builders can focus on real-world assets and business workflows, financial applications, investment infrastructure, data and analytics, or choose an open track for ideas that sit outside the main categories.
Each track centres on creating a working product. Entries are expected to explain the problem being addressed, identify the intended users and show how the project could develop beyond the competition.
The official event page lists a reward pool of up to $50,000 in cash and credits. HackCanton is hosted by NODERS through AppsFactory.
The new season follows a Season 2 competition that brought together more than 360 builders from over 60 countries. More than 75 teams took part, over 30 projects were made public and 18 teams reached the live final.
Those projects covered private markets, over-the-counter settlement, real-world assets, Canton-native yield products and fund infrastructure. Rocky Exchange finished first overall, followed by Umbra and Tirai.
Season 3 welcomes people returning with unfinished ideas from the previous competition as well as builders starting from scratch. Over five weeks, participants will have a route from team formation and early development to a finished submission and, for the finalists, a live presentation.
