Hecto is turning what began as one daily prediction product into a broader private-market business on Canton.
Its new roadmap has three parts: Predictions V2, PMX and Vaults. Each is being built for a different type of user.
The original Hecto Allocator let people make daily predictions about price movements at large private companies. Predictions V2 will put more of the market selection into users’ hands.
During the first phase, HECTO holders will be able to lock tokens to nominate companies. The second phase will introduce yes-or-no prediction markets for the companies that are chosen.
Hecto describes PMX as a tokenized instrument designed to give eligible users exposure to a basket of private companies. It is intended for people who would rather follow a group of companies than choose one at a time.
Hecto plans to begin with its Hectocorn Index and add other themed baskets later. The PMX waitlist is already open.
Vaults is the more selective part of the plan. It is intended for qualified participants seeking larger or company-specific opportunities.
The process starts with an inquiry and a conversation with the Hecto team. Identity or business checks follow when a suitable opportunity is available.
The three products are not aimed at the same audience. Predictions is the daily participation product. PMX is for eligible users looking at a broader group of private companies. Vaults is for larger and more selective opportunities.
