Later this month, Temple Digital Group will deploy Lightspeed, a new proprietary trading engine developed to support more users, more liquidity, and a significant increase in TPS.

New Architecture

Lightspeed moves order matching and asset management off-chain while preserving atomic on-chain settlement. The result is centralized-exchange performance with Canton native finality, privacy. and composability with existing financial infrastructure on Canton.

Better User Experience

Lightspeed transitions to the familiar deposit-and-withdrawal model. By pre-authorizing assets, Temple is able to eliminate individual per-trade signature requirements while remaining fully non-custodial.

Wallet Support

The Lightspeed architecture will support new wallet integrations, multi-signature wallets, and the ability to connect wallet accounts associated with validators.
