Q: For people discovering OneSwap for the first time, how would you explain what you’re building in simple terms?
Stan: OneSwap is a decentralized exchange, meaning you can swap tokens without KYC. Just sign up, connect your Canton wallet and start swapping.
OneSwap is easiest way to swap tokens in Canton ecosystem. You can exchange your CC to USDC and vice versa in an intuitive and simple interface. We currently support CC, USDC and CBTC, and adding more assets in the meantime.
Q: What was the original idea behind OneSwap, and what problem were you trying to solve?
Stan: Canton is pretty early and has no DeFi ecosystem, so we decided to start with something that everyone needs - a trusted DEX. We aim to build the best swap with deepest liquidity for Canton tokens.
Q: Before OneSwap, what were you working on, and how did your journey into Web3 begin?
Stan: We have been building in Web3 for years. Our CEO started his journey back in 2017 during ICO era and for the last two years have been building Sats Terminal - Bitcoin liquidity protocol that powers BTC loans, yield and trading.
After scaling Sats Terminal in BTC eco, we decided to expand into Canton in November 2025 and since then actively working on OneSwap.
Q: What has been the hardest part of building OneSwap so far?
Stan: Well, building something new is always hard. There are so many things you need to counter in. I think the hardest part is to actually focus and make sure you do only absolutely necessary actions and dont distract yourself.
Q: What makes OneSwap different from a regular swap or DEX experience?
Stan: Its user experience. Look at how smooth OneSwap looks, how easy to use it. I think its important that we actually build apps for everyday users, apps that are enjoyable.
Q: What kind of users are you building OneSwap for first?
Stan: Retail users that want to come to Canton and explore the whole ecosystem with us. Users that have hundreds, maybe thousands of CC/USDC, not millions. Simple people that want to be a part of Canton.
Q: Why did you choose to build on Canton?
Stan: Canton is a unique opportunity within the Web3. Canton is backed by some of the biggest institutions in TradFi, Web3 and finance. We want to be a part of this group of successful companies and thats why we decided to build on Canton.
Q: As the Canton ecosystem grows, where do you see OneSwap fitting in?
Stan: As one of the key B2C swap providers through our platform and B2B2C through SDK and wallet integrations.
Q: What are you most excited to bring to OneSwap next?
Stan: Liquidity. We are 100% focused on building the best swap experience and to ensure there is minimal slippage we need to onboard more liquidity. This is exactly what we are doing now and soon will add much more to our pools.
Q: For other builders entering Web3, what do you think it takes to build something successful?
Stan: Don’t chase hype, focus on real use cases and build for real users.
Q: Any personal tips, lessons, or advice you’d like to share with other founders and builders?
Stan: My key advice - focus on making revenue from day one. I know many great founders that built amazing products, but absolutely neglected revenue and when they realized business cannot function just on venture capital - it was already too late.
Q: Looking further ahead, where do you personally see yourself in ten years, and what role do you hope OneSwap has played by then?
Stan: I hope in ten years I would be healthy and still excited about life & building new projects/startups. OneSwap would be a leading DEX for Canton and it will help me to fund all my crazy startup ideas.
Q: Quick-fire round: favorite food, favorite country you’ve visited or want to visit, go-to drink, and what do you like doing when you need a break from building?
Stan: Favorite food - no doubt that a Lebanese shawarma with garlic sauce and extra pickles.
My favorite country is France, I’ve been there ten million times and hope can go more in the coming years.
Go-to drink - Georgian sparkling water and if alcohol - thats champagne.
When i need a break like to do boxing, swimming or reading history books.
