On public blockchains, trading activity can often be seen by anyone. That can include orders, wallet balances and the strategy behind a trade.
Silvana offers a more private way to trade.
Already live on Canton Network, Silvana Book is a private orderbook for tokenized assets. An orderbook is simply a list of people looking to buy and sell at different prices.
With Silvana, those orders are kept away from public market visibility. They are matched privately, before the final trade is settled on Canton.
Silvana uses Delivery versus Payment, usually shortened to DvP.
In simple terms, the buyer receives the asset at the same time the seller receives payment. Both sides of the trade complete together. If either side cannot meet the settlement conditions, the trade does not go through.
Users also keep control of their assets while waiting for an order to be matched.
The assets are not placed into escrow during the matching process. They remain in the user’s wallet and only move when the final trade is completed.
This makes Silvana different from a typical decentralised exchange that uses an automated market maker, or AMM.
On an AMM, users normally trade against a shared pool of assets. Silvana instead offers a private orderbook, direct swaps and private price requests without relying on a traditional trading pool.
There are several ways to trade.
Users can place orders through the Silvana Terminal, make a direct swap or use an RFQ. RFQ stands for “request for quote.” It allows a trader to privately ask liquidity providers what price they are willing to offer before choosing whether to accept it.
Silvana also supports grid strategies, where buy and sell orders can be automatically placed across different price levels.
Agents are another major part of the platform.
These are software tools that can follow rules set by the user. They can watch markets, place and manage orders, respond to quote requests, rebalance positions and help coordinate settlement.
The user still sets the permissions, limits and trading conditions. Sensitive actions remain subject to verification and signing controls, so the agent does not simply receive unlimited access to the user’s assets.
Silvana V2 is already live and includes a redesigned platform and Trading Terminal.
One of the latest additions is support for Lattice Wallet, giving users another way to connect to Silvana and access its features.
EarnHub has also received an update.
Campaigns are now easier to explore through clickable campaign cards, new task categories and a dedicated page designed to help users find additional campaign opportunities.
EarnHub tracks eligible activity across Silvana, including successfully settled trades, completed tasks, achievements and referrals. Failed transactions do not count towards trading rewards.
Points do not have a guaranteed cash value, and reaching a certain leaderboard position does not automatically guarantee a reward.
