Unhedged has added a connection that lets AI assistants research markets and place trades on its Canton prediction platform. It supports Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and Codex, allowing users to give instructions in ordinary language after installing the connection with a single command.
Users can ask an assistant to find markets, explain their rules and check closing times. It can compare activity and current probabilities without access to an account.
Account permissions let the assistant review balances, positions, bets and open orders. Trading permissions allow it to place bets and submit, cancel or replace orders. Orders can trade at market prices or wait for a chosen price.
Users choose what their access key allows, so connecting an assistant for research does not automatically let it trade. Withdrawals require separate permission, covering CC on Canton and USDC on Ethereum.
Unhedged’s setup guide also includes an optional session limit for bet stakes and buy-order amounts. Fees and withdrawals are excluded, and the cap resets when the connection’s server restarts. Users can keep the connection read-only if they want research and account information without trading.
