Bayzen’s application for Canton Featured App status has entered a MainNet vote. The vote opened on September 25, following Tokenomics approval announced the previous day.
At the September 26 check, the proposal had two votes in favor and no votes against. Voting is scheduled to close on October 2 at 14:00 UTC, with October 3 at 14:00 UTC listed as the target effective time if approved.
Bayzen is developing prediction markets on Canton covering financial assets, protocol developments and project milestones. Its planned markets would let eligible users take positions with Canton Coin on a specific question, such as whether an asset reaches a defined price by a set deadline.
Each market would have its question, evidence sources and settlement rules fixed before positions open. After the deadline, the result would be checked against that evidence, with a challenge period before final settlement. Winning participants would share the available pool after the stated fee.
A planned forecasting record called Signal Passport would track creators’ earlier predictions and resolved outcomes, allowing readers to assess a forecast alongside the creator’s history.
The product remains in development. Its public documentation describes the intended MainNet design, while the current prototype uses simulated wallet functions. The Featured App vote is a governance step separate from launching those product features.
