Cantex has introduced Cantex Connect, bringing wallet-agnostic access to trading on its exchange. Any wallet in the Canton ecosystem that supports a transfer memo can now trade simply by sending funds to the swap address and specifying the return token in the memo field, no permissioned integration, browser extension, or SDK required.
The atomic swap functionality lets users move between any listed assets in a single send, with the engine handling cross-pool routing where required. Filled orders return the requested token directly to the originating wallet, typically in under 15 seconds. Where a swap cannot be completed, the transfer simply remains pending under the sender's control and can be cancelled from within their wallet at any time.
The result is that liquidity is now open to any wallet or system capable of making a transfer, including hardware wallets, custodians, MPC platforms, exchanges, and validators, all without additional infrastructure.
Participants using this new method get access to the same institutional-grade infrastructure available to existing users. Every swap fills atomically within a single transaction or does not execute at all. Custody never changes hands, with a pending transfer remaining the sender's to revoke until the moment it settles. Trading activity stays visible only to the counterparties involved, never broadcast across the network. The platform also supports more than 100 trading pairs, one of the widest asset selections on any Canton trading venue, spanning commodities, RWAs, utilities, and stablecoins.
Integrators can find technical documentation and API access through Cantex's developer resources, while traders are advised to always confirm the swap address through the official site before sending funds.
Cantex is a decentralised AMM exchange built natively on Canton Network, offering atomic, non-custodial swaps across more than 100 trading pairs spanning commodities, real-world assets, utility tokens, and stablecoins.
