Canton has approved 18 validator operators in an October 7 batch that includes elebank limited and liquidity provider Enflux.
Elebank’s application lists tokenized deposits as its intended contribution. Greywick Digital plans to issue tokenized assets, starting with cLTC. Ovanta is developing programmable wallets and spending controls for AI-agent payments.
The full approved group is AEVORN, Arade, AXIWARD, Calta Infra Network Limited, ChainHub, Dunstan Gray, elebank limited, Enflux and Greywick Digital Limited, alongside HostDeFi Validator Collective, Nevos Protocol, Orbitmeter Settlement Network, Orrith, OTHRENVAL, Otus, Ovanta, Selvarn and VICA.
MainNet allocations are handled separately. The notice lists capacity for 50 validators per week, prioritizing projects with working DevNet or TestNet builds ready for production.
Before operating on MainNet, organisations must complete Canton’s onboarding process with a Super Validator sponsor. This includes arranging network access and obtaining the credentials their node needs to connect. Operators use the network’s development and test environments to prepare and check their setups before production.
Application providers are also encouraged to keep a TestNet setup running so they can check how their applications work with others before making changes on MainNet.
