The Canton Development Fund has paid 5,081,500 Canton Coin across four milestone payments, with all four receipts minted on October 5 UTC. The batch covers wallet tooling, transaction-traffic accounting, software maintenance and developer training.
Digital Asset received 4,000,000 CC for Splice Portfolio's first milestone under its open-source reference wallet grant. The milestone covers a portfolio interface with token transfers, transaction history and connections through Wallet Gateway.
A second Digital Asset payment of 695,500 CC covers User-Paid Traffic Accounting's first milestone. Its scope is the core local accounting framework, including tools for tracking traffic balances and checking them when transactions are prepared or submitted.
BitSafe received 250,000 CC for Decentralization Manager's first quarterly maintenance tranche. The July-to-September maintenance report covers bug fixes, security work, dependency updates and upkeep of automated build and test systems. This is one quarter of the wider maintenance commitment.
Digital Asset also received 136,000 CC for its 10% share of Daml 3 Training's second milestone. That milestone covers foundational and application-developer training, plus introductory Canton Network material.
The payments settle specific milestones under existing grants. They do not mark the end of the wider programs or confirm MainNet activation of user-paid traffic accounting.
