Nocturnal Wallet has entered a MainNet vote for Featured App status on Canton, taking the next step after clearing the network’s Tokenomics review.
MPC-Holding-Inc submitted the request on October 6. Voting closes on October 13 at 08:42 UTC, with a target effective time of October 14 at 08:43 UTC. At the October 6 check, the request had one yes vote and no opposition. It needs nine votes to pass.
Nocturnal is a self-custody wallet built on Canton’s official wallet software. Its design combines passkey sign-in with support for Canton Coin, Canton stablecoins and other assets using the network’s token standard.
Users can send and receive assets using readable Canton Name Service names and access swaps inside the wallet through third-party liquidity providers. Passkey sign-in removes the need to enter a seed phrase.
The wallet’s development plans also include an Elfa.ai-powered tool for token information and discovery. Bridging through LetsExchange and embedded-wallet support for institutions remain work in progress.
The new vote follows the October 2 committee decision, which cleared Nocturnal alongside seven other applications. That review made the wallet eligible to proceed to a separate network vote; it did not activate Featured App status.
The MainNet vote and official announcement provide the current request and timetable.
