AppsFactory by NODERS has concluded HackCanton Season 2, a 23-day online builder programme focused on applications for Canton Network.
The season brought together more than 360 builders from over 60 countries, with more than 75 teams, more than 30 public projects and 18 live pitches. Rocky Exchange was named the overall winner, followed by Umbra and Tirai.
Rocky Exchange Wins Season 2
Rocky Exchange finished first overall and also won the cETH Challenge.
The project is a privacy-first perpetual futures DEX built natively on Canton Network. It combines fast execution, private positions and atomic onchain settlement.
For its overall win, Rocky Exchange received $4,000, three months of NaaS at 75% off and three months in the Ambassador Program.
Umbra Takes Second Place
Umbra finished second overall and also placed second in the CBTC and cETH challenges.
Built by a solo developer, Umbra is a private OTC venue for institutional block trades. It was designed to settle CBTC against cETH privately and atomically on Canton Network.
Umbra received $2,500, two months of NaaS at 75% off and two months in the Ambassador Program.
Tirai Finishes Third
Tirai took third place overall.
The project is a confidential multi-dealer RFQ and OTC desk for institutional block trades. It uses sealed dealer quotes, private execution and atomic Delivery versus Payment settlement on Canton Network.
Tirai received $1,500, one month of NaaS at 75% off and one month in the Ambassador Program.
HackCanton Season 3 Opens for Registration
Registration for HackCanton Season 3 is now open. The five-week online programme begins on September 10, 2026, with a prize pool of up to $50,000.
Builders do not need a finished product or a full team to take part. Participants will identify a problem, learn Canton, build an MVP and pitch live if selected for the Grand Final.
